Follow the Path of Sin: Greed on Xbox One

I don’t know what the development team at Artifex Mundi are having for breakfast, but the speed they make games and put them out to their puzzle-solving hungry audience is nothing short of astonishing. They must be putting something special in their Weetabix in the morning as now we see another puzzler hit home, and it has to be said Path of Sin: Greed on Xbox One is yet another fascinating tale of intrigue and mystery.

Gift of Parthax brings wicked wizardry to Xbox One

Harry Potter has done a lot of good for the public image of Wizards. In the good old days, we always thought of wizards as grey old men, with huge beards that hadn't seen a shampoo bottle, as they stumbled around dungeons holding onto huge staffs so they don't fall over. Magic now - mostly thanks to the scar-faced bespectacled boy wonder - is very cool with quick wand battles and interesting story arcs. The Gift of Parthax on Xbox One is hoping to go the way of our boy Harry, and wow the world with its magic battles.

The Forbidden Arts Review

In the rules of magic, we know that creating fireballs and throwing them is generally a good thing, and raising an army of the dead to fight alongside you is pretty much frowned upon. It is however with these set of rules in mind that I fully prepared myself to enter the world of The Forbidden Arts, ready to master it all.

It’s time for Edna & Harvey: Harvey’s New Eyes to launch on Xbox One

Without doubt, this is a game that takes the crown for one of the strangest monikers of 2019. A point and click adventure from Daedalic Entertainment that was first released on PC in 2012, it's the sequel to another wonderfully titled affair Edna & Harvey: The Breakout. But what is it? Well, it’s Edna & Harvey: Harvey’s New Eyes on Xbox One.

Stellaris: Console Edition gets hit with Utopia Expansion

The arrival of Stellaris: Console Edition to Xbox One earlier in 2019 was a welcome one, particularly after seeing it garner a hugely successful time on PC. Now though it’s time to take things on to the next level, with the arrival of the Utopia Expansion.

The Church In The Darkness Review

The Church in the Darkness on Xbox One has me divided. On one hand, I love the concept, writing, and visual style. On the other, I pretty much hate the randomised elements, the permadeath, and a number of small gameplay annoyances.

We Happy Few – Lightbearer Review

The story in We Happy Few - Lightbearer focuses on a rock musician who we take charge of - Nick Lightbearer. He is a famous musician who has taken on many different influences, but basically looks and sounds a bit like Austin Powers, just with a droopy moustache.

Hoggy2 Review

Should you be in the mood for some old school puzzling with a slime based creature who can stick to walls and defy gravity, then Hoggy2 is the game for you.

The Padre Review

With The Padre, my dreams have come true as I'm off to battle the darker world of spirits, demons, and things that go bump in the night. But will I live up to my godly duties and banish the evil back to whence it came from, or will it be more like an episode of Father Ted?

Sea of Solitude Review

EA, with the help of their indie sub-branch EA Originals, has launched a very personal title from a developer who has plenty of strings to their bow, even voicing the main character. It is the wonderful looking title, Sea of Solitude.
