Ryan Taylor

Grew up playing the Nintendo 64 where I fell in love with the Legend of Zelda series. As I got older though my console of choice changed, first to PS2, and then finally to the Xbox 360, which I've been playing on for over a decade now. And since my first day booting up my Xbox, I've upgraded consoles and even built a gaming PC. Because at the end of the day I just love gaming.

Turnip Boy Robs a Bank Review

You'll enjoy your time with Turnip Boy a lot more on the second go around in Turnip Boy Robs a Bank.

Have a Nice Death Review

There is a lot of personality in Have a Nice Death. The animation is fluid and the character and sound design are phenomenal. It is a challenging game that doesn’t forgive mistakes, so it won’t be fun for those looking for a casual game. But if you like a roguelike that will push you to the edge, Have a Nice Death is a welcome addition to your game library.

Avatar: The Last Airbender – Quest for Balance Review

Avatar: The Last Airbender - Quest for Balance tries to do way too much.

Rayland 2 Review

It’s hard to make a case for Rayland 2 being your first choice when it comes to buying a new puzzle game. However, if you want to kill an hour or two, and you need an extra 2000 Gamerscore in the bank, then it’s certainly an option.

Blasphemous 2 Review

If you enjoyed the first Blasphemous, then getting hold of Blasphemous 2 is a given. Everything that was great about the first game has been built on in the second, with nearly all issues addressed.

Rogue Spirit Review

If you are a fan of roguelites then don't rule out Rogue Spirit. It’s not a game for genre newbies, but if you need something different, Rogue Spirit may be for you.

CONVERGENCE: A League of Legends Story is definitely geared towards more casual platformer gamers and as far as metroidvanias go, there are better ones out there.

Overloop Review

If you are looking for a casual puzzle-platformer that you can beat in an afternoon, then Overloop is a neat little game to pick up.

Nocturnal Review

Nocturnal is a short, yet enjoyable experience. The platforming and visuals are the best aspects of the game.

Mangavania Review

Overall, there is just a lack of polish in Mangavania, but thankfully it is rather short and you do get an easy 1000 Gamerscore pocketed for finishing it.

Revita Review

Revita is a game that is worth the investment. Once you get into it, you’ll find yourself sinking in the hours.

The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story Review

Overall and whilst you may find the opening of The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story to be a bit of a slow burn, the more you play the more invested you will become.

Nuclear Blaze Review

Nuclear Blaze is a short and sweet game that can take up a chunk of your day if you feel like trying something new.

Afterimage Review

Afterimage is one of those games in which you’ll need to actively switch between different weapons based on the boss you are up against, because almost all of them feel good to use depending on the situation.

Blade Assault Review

The gameplay loop is solid, but there are quite a few bugs that need to be patched before Blade Assault could be classed as a truly good game.

DARQ: Ultimate Edition Review

DARQ is a decent puzzle game that has an incredibly well-built atmosphere. The few shortcomings don’t overrule the positives, and if you are looking for a short and creepy game to play, then DARQ: Ultimate Edition is a great fit.

Planet Cube: Edge Review

If you are looking for a well-made platformer with a fun story and plenty of obstacles, then Planet Cube: Edge is a great find.
